We had to pick 4 main things that we had learnt about this year and write 4 things that we had learnt while doing them.
For Example: CHESS

Custom Glitter Text

Hello my fellow people,

Today at Enrich I started art with Jenni. Neave, Rhylee, Norton and I had to start from scratch because we were not here last week. Once we had painted our background any colour that we wanted, we had to wait for it to dry. Next we had to put a coat of clear medium paint on. Then the fun began. We had to go outside and get messy with watered down paint so you could splat it on your painting easily. I had four colours. It looks really cool and qwirky.

Here is a rebus for you. Rebus's are a type of riddle. HINT: the colour has nothing nothing to do with it.

MALIL.

Questions

Hi blog readers

What was the best part of your day?

Mine was making another clay cup. The design that I'm going to do is one stand out moustache and the rest of them are going to be black.

What is something you need to work on?

I need to work on being more independent in my discovering your past project because we only have one more week to go until we have to present them in-front of a teacher and about 9 or 10 other classmates.

Today at Enrich we swapped our strength-based extension because we had finished our art with Katie. I moved on to Garageband with Paul. I also played around and experimented with Garageband before I made a song and I would have uploaded my song that I made but the computer wouldn't let me upload it.

One of the brain teasers is. T RN
I will give you the answer of the rebus next week.

ART WITH THE GRAND KATIE

Hello blog readers,

This morning at Enrich@ILT we did our third session of our strength-based extension. I am doing art with Katie. We learnt about a new abstract artist called Wassily Kandinsky. We had a go at doing his painting called concentric circles. One of his quotes is ' Listen to music to see colours '. The most challenging part of doing that artwork is trying to fill a rectangle in 2-5 minutes depending on how long the piece of music is. We also watched a tutorial on how to create your own version and the person made it look so easy. Here is a link to the slideshow we watched.

Here is the tutorial we watched as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgDkuhmsMZg

See you guys next week

Hi there everyone,
Today I did art with Katie,
We did abstract heads by Pablo Picasso. We had to get a side on and front on portrait profiles, all in one picture. First we drew an oval for the face and then a squiggly line down the middle. Then we had to draw the facial features, ears and  hair line. Next we had to draw a figure eight over our picture and then a rectangle and go over it in vivid. Here is my portrait of Pearl.

Going to Burst

Stress can put a lot of pressure on you most of the time, so here are some hints about coping with stress.

No. 1, When you get stressed try and get outside and go for a walk or do some exercise, it helps take your mind of things.
No. 2, Tell someone you're stressed and ask to talk about why your stressed, so you don't have that feeling like you're going to burst.
No. 3, Being alone can make you stressed, so try getting involved in activities that sound interesting to you and suit your timetable.

Thanks for reading my blog  :)

Passion Project

Today was the first session of passion projects. Pearl, Norton and I are doing water- colour paintings (but they weren't here today!) We are trying to complete  at least 3 average to good paintings with water-colours. Today my goal was to choose which painting I was going to do and sketch it out lightly and choose our colours. Today my progress was pretty good. I managed to sketch my picture and choose my colours to use and copied down some ideas to keep me on track.

See you next week.

Brain Training

Hello, Blog readers

This morning at Enrich we did brain training.
It is a really fun way to help people of all ages and abilities. I will put the link for the website up at the end and you can have a go and see how well you go. There is also a site that has a video that has one brain training activity in the video but you have 25 seconds to do the one in the video and it also has some good info about brain training.

My favourite game in the second website is 'What Was There'.

Here are the websites

Open,Close,Open,Close

This morning we did open and closed questions. A closed question is a question with a one word answer. Here is an example.Hey have you been to the circus? No.  An open question requires a bit more thought and requires a long answer.

We also had to think of ten open questions to use in an interview with a classmate.

Here are my top two questions.
1.What do you want to achieve this year.
2.Can you describe a time when you felt happy and annoyed at the same time.
This was a fun activity, I really enjoyed it.
See you next week!!!!

Chess with Katie

Welcome back to my blog.

Today I went to a rotation with Katie. The rotation was a chess one. We had to play a game of chess with someone we had never played before, but it had to be someone in the group. I had to play Madison. I was off to a good start but Madison kept ruining my plans. We didn't get to finish so we had to check on points. I got a not so proud 5 points and Madison got 35.

See you next week!
